MEET TINA

My name is Tina. I live in Minnesota with my husband, two beautiful daughters enjoying the golden moments in life. I’m forever a child at heart, a creative entrepreneur and a wellness enthusiast.
On weekday you will find me doing yoga, walking, cozied up in front of my computer with my boxer Zeus by my feet writing romance, coaching clients, recording podcasts or creating content.

Winter weekends are for family, games, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and we often disappear into the north woods of Two Harbors where our family and friends own over 1,000 acres of beautiful groomed private woods.

Summer are for family, friends, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, camping, fishing and most times too much food and beverages.
I grew up in loving home with lots of family and friends around me, but despite this fact the outside world lead me to believe two UN-truths about myself, that I was both stupid and that my body was not good enough. Carrying the burden of these UN-truths weighed heavy on me much of my life. I kept my true self hidden and was consumed by shame and fear. Aware that deep down, there was something BIG I needed to do.

My journey has lead me on a path of soul searching, gather knowledge and finding peace within myself through coaching, yoga and breathwork. Even though it’s an ongoing path, I now celebrate my body and focus on letting go of the need to fit the unrealistic ideal body so many of us strive for.

I also know that I am not stupid. I can learn what is important to me, what I find value in and I have brilliance within me.

I have experienced very much personal struggle and as hard as it’s been, I don’t regret it. Without what I’ve learned on my journey to personal acceptance and self-love I wouldn’t have the knowledge and understanding I do know, giving me the will to help other do the same.

My mission is to uplift woman through embracing their stories and to create a community of woman who celebrate and encourage each other.

What is the REMEMBER HER PROJECT

The Remember Her Project is a movement working with women to share stories, create new narratives and to connect with your inner child.

Once upon a time you really sparkled. You were born with creativity and wonder; a path, a purpose, desire, untapped talents, and fearlessness. As you grew older you were influenced by media, friends, family, teachers and the outside world to believe so many untruths that don’t match your inner truths. Your sparkle dulled.
We all have stories, but it is within those stories we can shine light on who we really are within the depth of our souls. Accepting our stories and connecting to others through their stories is healing and creates room for self-love. A life lived with self-acceptance and boundless joy.

Founder of the Remember Her Project Tina Ness, knew she had a message within her, one that would pave the way for others to feel the beautiful healing strength found within us as we share ourselves, accept our truest nature and live uninhibited by the power of our Untruths and not enoughs.

The Remember Her Project is a podcast sharing stories, celebrating triumphs and learning tools to create the life you desire. To live a life with the essence of that free-spirited child you once were. This is only the beginning; a documentary and self-help book are also on the horizon.

The goal is to learn to do way less “adulting” and have way more fun. Fun was easy as a kid, but it takes way more effort as we get older. Fun is the key to a long life. Play has been shown to release endorphins, improve brain functionality, and stimulate creativity. It is also crucial to our memory and can actually keep us from illness.
We believe that by Remembering Her and activating your passion to play you will be reigniting your beautiful sparkle.

We were made to sparkle!
